The world’s worst kept secret was finally made official today, as Apple held a major press conference to unveil the iPad Mini, a 7.9-inch, scaled-down version of its phenomenally successful iPad tablet computer.
With the launch date set for Friday, November 2, Apple executives have returned to headquarters to make their next big decision: if the second version of the iPad Mini will be called “the iPad Mini 2″ or just “the new iPad Mini”.
